Your primary care physician might not be able to give you the best possible care for your ADHD.

It's no secret that primary care physicians are stretched thin. They have so many patients to see and not enough time to give each one the individualized attention they deserve. When you have a complex condition like ADHD, this can be especially problematic.

One of the most common misconceptions about ADHD is that it can be treated with medication alone. It is simply not true. ADHD affects every aspect of your life, from work and school to relationships and self-esteem. To effectively treat ADHD, you need a comprehensive approach that addresses all of these areas.

And when it comes to something as important as your health, you deserve nothing but the best.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you're new to ADHD coaching, or new to your ADHD diagnosis, you may not know what is included in a session with Dr. Patel. Below, find answers to the most common questions!

How do I know Dr. Patel is qualified to coach me for ADHD? Don’t you need special training?

Dr. Patel finished medical school, practiced as a resident doctor, and was then diagnosed with ADHD after leaping over every hurdle required.

As a board-certified, multi-state licensed family practice physician trained in Chicago, a medical hub of the country, he was surrounded by the best primary care physicians, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and neurologists yet no one was able to figure out what made him different.

Since his diagnosis in 2007, he has been obsessed with this blessing disguised as a curse and has helped countless people of all ages achieve their potential.

He teaches physicians, teachers at all grade levels, and employers how to recognize this trait in others and how to help those individuals succeed.

Imagine if he’s working with you, one on one?

Do I need to prepare anything for our first call?

Our coaching program is easy to sign up for, set aside time for, and follow through with because if you’re looking for help, you probably already know the things holding you back.

You just don’t know how to get over that hump to actually make the changes needed to see results.  Just make sure you have a place to jot down some notes for yourself.

Try to be in a quiet environment so we can hear each other.

Most importantly, we’re trying to help you, so set aside some time to actually have the conversation you are paying for. In other words, don’t drive, operate heavy machinery, or be distracted in any way.

What happens after a coaching call?

Hopefully, the first thing that happens is you notice a sense of relief and confidence in your next steps. All of this is self-directed so that we can go at your pace.

You might even be advised to schedule a second call, so you don’t forget.

What if I have not officially been diagnosed with ADHD?

The coaching program is open to anyone and everyone, but we recommend confirming the diagnosis to get the most out of the coaching but it is not required.

If you live in one of the states that the doctor is licensed in, we can arrange for you to be seen through his private practice virtually for an official assessment.

If not, we can direct you to a local resource for you to follow up with.

Am I able to cancel or reschedule a call after it's booked?

We don’t want to waste your time or ours. If you change your mind or decide to reschedule, we request that you give us at least 1 business day's notice to arrange for someone else to be seen instead.

I'm under 18. Do I need a parent's permission to book a call?

We do require parental permission prior to working with minors which is for your own benefit.

What if I have a question that isn't answered here?

If you are still unsure after scouring ADHD2.com, we have set up a single-session option so you can see how it feels without making large commitments.

This way, you are not wasting your time or ours.

As the saying goes, time is money!
